Ron Paul Action Figure Update

Good news on the Ron Paul figures front:  We just got confirmation Friday that the last part needed to assemble the figures will be arriving at the manufacturer's plant in 20-25 days, then fulfillment with likely receipt by donors by end of October. We will update this page again when the part arrives.

A quick update on the status of the Ron Paul figures that where ordered:  We’ve resolve the issues with the production company and final production of the figures themselves is underway!  The packaging is done and ready, and the voice chips have been ordered from a supplier.  We’re waiting on some feedback on exact dates for shipping & fulfillment, but we are making progress.

My name is Dan Backer, and I’m the new Treasurer & legal counsel for Revolution PAC as of about 2 weeks ago.  I was brought in to help resolve a bunch of problems that have cropped up in the past couple months – including the issue with the Ron Paul figures - and get the PAC moving forward again.  I work with a couple other Liberty-oriented groups like EndorseLiberty, Liberty USA PAC, and RightSolutions, as well as other grassroots Conservative & Liberty groups.

As near as I can tell so far, and I’m still digging into this, the change in PAC management in March left a lot of details unattended – that happens when groups change hands from Founders to other well-meaning volunteers who may not be as familiar with how things have been working, what’s happened, etc.  This led to a bunch of problems, mostly minor, but most seriously were a bunch of miscommunications and crossed wires with the company making the Ron Paul figures for us.

I’ve been in touch with and straightened out the problems and miscommunications with the small business owner whose company is making the figures, and we’re back on track.  I don’t yet have a new completion date for the finished production (these are pretty impressive and definitely NOT the toy soldiers I grew up with!), but it’s not going to be much longer, and then the figures will ship directly from the manufacturer to cut down on time.  As soon as we have more details, I will let you know, and I’ll do a better job of keeping you and everyone informed about the progress going forward.

I’m committed to getting this all done and honoring all orders.  I know that’s cold comfort after so long, but I hope you’ll bear with me as we get this resolved.
