President Obama's recent executive orders expand the troubling trend of using the psychiatric-pharmaceutical complex as a police arm of the government to sweep away individuals' constitutional rights. Using already dodgy mental-health laws, government is creating enveloping mental-health exceptions to the Constitution to deprive individuals of due process of law and their Fifth Amendment rights that used to protect them from being scooped off the street and disappeared into a government psychiatric gulag. The simple truth is, psychiatric drugs are implicated as a causative factor in mass shootings. Evidence of this abounds – certainly enough to justify a serious federal investigation. The government prefers to ignore this. Why? Because as long as they pretend not to see the connection, they can use the crisis du jour to fuel their gun grab; and because Big Pharma, who makes approximately a gazillion dollars a year on the sale of psych drugs, has tentacles into the government and lots of high-priced lobbyists, and the government is not keen to buck this power structure. When the FBI and Virginia police tried to "disappear" former Marine Brandon Raub into the Old Dominion psychiatric gulag, Raub’s attorney said his case "exposes the seedy underbelly of a governmental system that is targeting Americans – especially military veterans – for expressing their discontent over America’s rapid transition to a police state. It’s no coincidence that within days of Raub being seized at his Virginia home on August 16, 2012, and forcibly held in a VA psych ward, news reports started surfacing of other veterans having similar experiences. Brandon Raub's attorney has written the Virginia Inspector General demanding that he investigate the officers and agencies involved in the involuntary civil commitment of Raub during the period August 16 - 23, 2012. In that letter, Raub's attorney describes the assault and kidnapping of Raub under the color of civil committment statutes to be "at best, a misuse of the Commonwealth's involuntary commitment statues and, at worst, an abuse of those statutes to punish a citizen for speech that government officials found distasteful."  Read More...

The Chesterfield Police Chief has responded to the FOIA request by Revolution PAC chairman Larry Hunter with incomplete information. Hunter in turn wrote the Chesterfield Deputy County Attorney that the burden is not upon him, the requester, to specify every iota of information he is entitled to under the VFOIA: "I have requested that the chief provide me all information/communications related to the Raub incidents, and he is required under the law to search and secure all records and possessions of the Chesterfield police to comply thoroughly and in good faith with this request." Hunter further specified numerous ways Dupuis's response failed to comply with the Virginia Code and concluded, "His response is incomplete and lacking significant material that should have been provided in any good-faith response to my FOIA request," and he demanded the chief "review the deficiencies in his response to my FOIA request and remedy the violations of omission immediately."  Read More...

Revolution PAC chairman Larry Hunter responds to Deputy Chesterfield County Attorney who, representing the Chesterfield Police Department, has denied the Freedom of Information Act request submitted by Hunter in the Brandon Raub case on the grounds that Hunter is not a citizen of Virginia.
